You and YOU alone must approve its use and YOU alone accept the responsibility of taking it and the medical issues that arise.
Once its FDA approved, employers can mandate away. They would not be responsible for adverse effects, as they are not responsible if they give you the option to get the flu shot, like many employers do, along with TB etc.
