I doubt it was actually released.

I'm sure the white hats took care of the real weapon but the Cabal had to go ahead and run the news stories like it HAD been released because without the propaganda push, what did they have?

Considering literally no lab on Earth who has requested a Covid-19, has received a real, actual Covid-19 sample, I'm inclined to agree with you.
