It will evaporate first
How much evaporation is required for sediments to settle and that gas becomes useless? Dummy is doing nothing but wasting money...
I don't really know, but when there are small spills out here it evaporates almost immediately.
Most totes have air holes in the handles so she will have spillage unless she has taped it and then evaporation from the lid not being tight enough. I'm guessing it will all be gone within a matter of hours if she doesn't set herself on fire first.
No it wont. Itll eat through that plastic in a few hours.
Maybe, I've never known anyone stupid enough to put gas in a tote.
But what's different about plastic gas cans and totes?
Ive used gas to clean rusty ball bearings before. I did it once with an old ice tray and it softened it enough to sink a bicycle ball bearing into the plastic. It made little indents in the plastic after only a few minutes. Gas can also dissolve styrofoam pretty quickly...its pretty corrosive stuff.
I dont know what they do to gas cans to keep it from happening.
