If I recall correctly, positive covid test means they were arrested awaiting trial.

There was decode legend going around for these events with celebrities and gov officials (all to my memory, could be incorrect)

Exposed to Covid - Arrested, awaiting cooperation Negative test - cooperating or got a deal Positive test - Isn't cooperating or isn't getting a deal Recovered from Covid - Found not guilty or released due to deal Died from Covid - Guilty, hanged/bullet to the head Getting the shot - The list I saw came out before the vax so I'm not sure how this one plays in

Now that's not to say this is always true, I'm sure there are some people that will state they got tested or got the shot completely unrelated to being arrest, but it's certainly worth paying attention to.

In Maher's case, he's likely toast.
