I gave up trying to reason with people on this topic a few years ago. People who post this kind of stuff don’t ever read or study the source material they’re bashing, then actively use Google to argue their side. It’s really sad because it shows how little they know about the Age of Enlightenment and America’s founding. It’s akin to pulling quotes out of context from the Holy Bible, and using them to degrade Christians, or citing the Catholic Church to call all Christians pedos. How easy would it be to warp somebody’s perception with these tactics? Extremely easy.
