I just finished read a autobiography, published 1971. The autobiography was about a man's life fighting against Nazi's 1939-1946.
He was jailed in North Africa during the 1940's as a political prisoner. He stated that the Muslims there (other prisoners) do "unspeakable and filthy thing to themselves and children". This was a passing comment the author made.
It's a thing.
This book would never be published in its current form today because of that comment.
