Hope this is allowed! I've browsed on this site for a while, even had another username where I engaged in some fairly civil debates with other users before I was banned due to not being a Q follower.
Interested in having a friendly discussion with anyone who's up for it!
A bit about me:
I'm a mechanical engineer working in product marketing I live in a major city, Chicago, and have pretty much only voted democrat I am a homeowner I have followed conspiracies for a while based solely on my own curiosity, and by and large found that a lot of the major ones (pizzagate, Q) don't make a ton of sense, but I'm not here to argue that. I think we're just gonna have different opinions on it.
All said, happy to have a casual AMA! Not interested in flamebaiting or arguing
Also, 15/hr min wage would hurt small businesses everywhere... but especially in the midwest and southeast.
I agree that some businesses may be hurt, but supporting small businesses has been a movement that many citizens like you and I have agreed with for a long time. By giving people more disposable income (in a raised minimum wage), they'd be able to afford more expensive items from small businesses over big box stores like walmart or target.
I think you and I can agree that those stores wield too much commercial power, but part of that reason is they're able to sell things on the cheap to people who don't have a higher paying job. With raised minimum wages, those shoppers may afford to support small businesses.
The business OWNERS is who it hurts. Not the shoppers. Make sense? Or nah? Edit: it also hurts the shoppers. Prices go up. But of course you don't understand how a 15 min wage would be bad for somebody who has worked for 16 years to get from 6 to 15/hr. I don't actually expect elitists to be able to follow me here.
