Not long after she was killed in a freak accident during Surgery. Rivers experienced serious complications and stopped breathing while undergoing what was scheduled to be a minor throat procedure at an outpatient clinic in Yorkville, Manhattan. ... The New York City Medical Examiner's Office said that she died from brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen. Sound like she was choked to death.

She wasn't killed. She just stopped wearing her stage makeup and wigs.

The voice is right. The height is right. I stood next to her once in a stately home in Cornwall, England. I was amazed at how short she was. And her makeup was trowelled on so thick I thought it would crack.
