At work last night. Lady who oversees the care of one of my individuals comes by to see said individual.

I stopped her at the door to take her temp because “I have to”.

I told her “Sorry I have to in case you’re one of those who are afraid of it”

This woman looks at me and says “Oh no it’s okay. I’ve had my shots”

She must have thought I was laughing with her as I took her temp to tell her she’s not special, and not at her, but I was most certainly laughing at her. First of all , those shots don’t work. Secondly, if I ever say “I’ve had my shots” like I’m a dog and my papers are up to date, please just shoot me ?
