I was behind a car that had a Books not Guns bumper sticker, and all I could think was that if we are not careful we will need guns to protect the printed books. Many do not realize how dangerous the digital world is. How easy is it to change history, and direct searches to "your desired narrative". With the stroke of a key our entire history could be re-written without printed books to protect it. Just like all dystopian stories, books will become more dangerous than guns.

Very true, I had not heard of Thalidomide until your comment. So that got me to look it up. While it was initially used as a morning sickness relief drug, it caused severe birth defects and death in fetuses. Now, it is approved for Leprosy and cancer treatment. Thanks for the comment, and the knowledge!
