Tried to tell my dad the truth about the vaccine but he gets angry when I do. He says he talked to his siblings and friends and they all got it and they all feel fine. Won't listen to anything I say and tells me to respect his decision. I cannot knowing that the second vaccine will most certainly shorten his life span. I love him and want to save him, but he's dead set on getting it based on the influence of his siblings and friends. What can I do? What should I do?

yes it will - no life insurance policies have been rejected due to death from the vax. If you have any different info please post - but I researched this directly with insurance companies after I saw that misinfo posted here. Increasingly I'm finding more misinfo on this board than useful info.
Depends on how long you've had your life insurance policy. Mine told me if I died due to covid or covid vaccine before my 2 year membership length, they wouldn't pay out. After 2 years, they would. They said if I died for any other reasons other than covid or covid vaccine before 2 years, they would pay out.
please name the insurance company - I will validate. I validated with three insurance companies and none said covid or the vax had any impact on their policies. Happy to admit if I'm wrong.
Lincoln life insurance (lfg.com) . Do let me know. It's possible I misunderstood what they told me.
Will check. Liberty Mutual, USAA, and Farmers will all honor life insurance policies with regard to death from covid or the vax.
Interesting note here - if covid is so deadly, why haven't life insurance premiums skyrocketed? They haven't moved at all. (there has been some hesitance about underwriting folks with known comordibities)
Same w vax. If it's so deadly, why aren't life insurance premiums rising?
This is where there's real money is in play. As we say, money talks and bullshit walks. To me this is another magnet thing circulating.

"“Life insurance policy contracts are very clear on how policies work, and what cause, if any, might lead to the denial of a benefit. A vaccine for COVID-19 is not one of them. "
Life insurance anon...there is two year contestibility period where if death occurs, the company reserves the right to basically review the file again to make sure everything was disclosed, etc. They MAY not pay out, but it is not an automatic. Example: you die of cancer, but do not disclose you knew if the diagnosis prior to taking the application. You race cars and are killed in an accident on the track, but never disclosed that you have been racing for 10 years. (I had a woman who had a 20-year old breast cancer history which she fully disclosed. She died of pancreatic cancer 14 days before the end of the contestibility period. They looked at that case hard during the claims process, but they paid.)
If you commit suicide in the first two years, they will definitely not pay and that is stipulated in every contract. The premiums paid will be refunded and that's it.
For CV, the only thing that has come up is new coverage where if you have tested positive or had it, they may postpone the application, but that is all.
Ok. I may have misunderstood the "may not pay out" part and interpreted it as automatic. Their off-the-record remark was that I wait until my 2 year renewal before I get the covid shot. Though this was back when I was researching whether to get the covid shot. Won't get it now.
they'll also pay out if you get a visit from HRC after 2 years but not before.
