Sleaze. Is Bill still a college frat boy at heart? The Gates' family have powerful connections. Bill played a huge part in making Epstein look legit. Perhaps part of the elites' bigger plan. Both are tools being used by bigger fish.

Obvious that some of the media has the goods and the bombshells. Drip feeding for effect. They are building up to a Big Reveal. Enjoy the movie frens!
