But my mother got it from a blood transfusion right around the time they started testing donated blood for it back in 1987. They think my dad got it through a tattoo cuz his was a different strain than my mothers.
Thanks. But i dont see it as theyre dead. I see it as they have moved onto the next phase of whatever this thing called life is. No more pain,no more sadness for them. Im not a religious or godly person but ill see them again when i move on to whatever is next.

I'm sorry to hear about the death of your parents. Losing both in a year is a very difficult thing.
Yes, the blood supply was very dirty for a long time. Back in 1987, Hep C didn't even have a name. It was called "hepatitis non-a or non-b."
