Just one major "news" media figure would get that ball rolling nicely. Show the crime, show the evil, show the lies. Then leave the unawakened (minority) public to scratch their heads and start to ponder the possibility that the media is dishonest.

Once people understand they've been lied to it gets easier to reach them with the truth because SOME of them actually go looking for it! :D
