You can also go see the Pentagon on tours... doesnt mean you'll get to go below ground or see ANYTHING cool... "but I got a tour of the Pentagon, that proves nothing shady has ever happened there!!!"
Well I mean if you want to go to the south pole all by yourself, if you have the training and equipment required, there's nothing really stopping you from doing that. The goal was never stated as "no one lets us investigate the pyramids on Antarctica!", it was just "Why aren't people allowed travel to Antarctica?". And this just shows that, turns out, you can in fact visit Antarctica.
That's like saying "no one is stopping you from going alone to area 51!" They obviously will know a rando is attempting to access their secret bases or areas and dispatch guards to stop you...
huh? Area 51 is clearly marked as a restricted area. To say that "no one is stopping you from going to Area 51" as any kind of basis for a comparison is just blatantly false.
The only area you might be restricted from accessing in Antarctica would be any research facilities or wildlife areas. But you can still go to the continent if you want. You can take cruises around it. You can go to the south pole if you want. These things aren't forbidden.
I mean, if you have 2 months and $70-90,000 to spare, you can book an excursion to the south pole: https://www.adventureconsultants.com/expeditions/antarctica/south-pole-all-the-way/
Oh yay, a highly guided tour.

but that goes against the narrative. only reptile people are allowed to go to Antarctica.
I'm not giving an opinion one way or the other. I don't know, and neither does anybody else.
