Because they know that what will be found will topple it all. They really think they are saving our democracy by being compliant to their overlords.

They serve the DS and know that if the truth comes out all that they know will be taken away.

The pressure of their entire Cabal organization is being brought into play. These guys will all end up dead, killed by their masters if they can't stop it.
