Snakes aren't poisonous... They're venomous. Anti-venom would be used. The attack would show signs quickly and give time to administer cure. Again, this is a poor theory on an assassination attempt. Pelosi has a hard enough time keeping her teeth in let alone trying to administer a lethal injection during a handshake.
