Some people know it but just don't want to acknowledge that level of evil. Someone was telling me "apparently he's been cheating on his wife for years" and I say "dude Epstein was involved, it's much worse than that" and they're like "...yeah."

Sad to say there are a lot of people who think like that. They want comfort vs the truth in such dark matters.
