Mental illness is the cool thing to have.

I'd say why don't they see this, but then I remember they're mentally ill. Maybe they truly don't see how stupid they're being.... maybe.

They are legitimately in a mentally bad place. Especially the child actors who were programmed and abused from a young age. Split personalities and reality coping mechanisms can happen for those in the industry. Once you’re in there’s no escape really. Try to get out and they will send you to “rehab”.
