I am very surprised that people believe reactions like that are normal. In the end you can show your mom the door, but she has to choose to open it. I feel your pain most of my loved ones got the shots. It is heartbreaking but they have to make the choice for themselves. Perhaps ask her to hold off on getting it until it gets official approval since these are all allowed under emergency use and you should be able to find that proof easily.
