I read a couple of posts today that suggested a lot of people were still wearing their masks as a sort of way to "go along with the group." Someone compared it to wearing Beats headphones around the neck, or rolling up a pant leg. If this is true, we can probably break this conditioning by making those people feel ridiculous. Namely, by pointing and laughing at people who are wearing a mask in public.
I'm not saying this is the safest idea. You'll probably start some shit. Maybe choose your targets wisely. There are definitely people too weak to stand their ground, and they will probably feel pretty embarrassed and start to feel that dissonance about their decision making.
What do you guys think?
That was me that said that! We totally point and laugh! Of course I'm a tall in shape x soccer player and I will drop anybody who thinks they want to get crazy... so I point and laugh and even try to make them hear what I'm saying to my wife as we walk through the insanity. Here in Houston at least 99% of people are still wearing masks, we go out of our way to talk to people that don't wear masks.
