They did no such thing they said the files were deleted but they were able to recover them.

The "They did no such thing" refers to the auditors not backtracking. You seem to think they got defensive about the title. Whereas I read that as them affirming what the article is saying. You can't assume they didn't read it and start name calling. It makes you look insane.

How? That's what the article was about. The fact that the files were deleted and recovered and not as suggested 'found'.
