She explained she had a heavy pollen allergy. I've know her for years and I've never seen her like that before, so I call it bullshit.
I've seen pictures from people where half of their faces were paralyzed and hers looked almost the same but fully swollen up. I don't know how she's doing now, but she doesn't post that much anymore. I hope she's okay.
After she got vaxxed it took a while (a few months) before she got in that state. So I do believe we will keep seeing more and more of those "aLLErGic" reactions in the future.
I've been ranting before about vaxxed people here on GAW, that we should be careful being around them. And I still steadfastly believe we all should be cautious about them.
We still don't know what will happen to them and what they could do to us.
I'm not a doctor but I advise you all to be careful, it's far from over what's happening now.
May God protect you all! ?
Way to go,fren, sounds like you had a good time and picked up some of the lingo. Whether she was a "working girl"looking for a sailor with plenty of green backs. Did you get a pie at Harry's Cafe D'wheels near Garden Island, it's still there.
OMG that was 57 years ago ? I remember the high points and a few of the low points (being drunk with no Cinderella liberties) I don't remember desserts... ?
You should google earth Sydney, the Opera house was still under construction in 64. On shore leave, were you issued with Aussie money or using green backs? That stuff about the signals about Ia drang sounds interesting, that was a serious dust up.Did your ship ever operate with HMAS Melbourne?
I have to hit the hay now, feel free to get in touch if you want to. Take care of yourself.
I guess you have been following me for some time now-thanks awfully!!-I think I didn't spend much money, the Aussies were VERY generous.. don't remember if greenbacks were used. The name of the HMAS is familiar.. Ia Drang was Hal Moore's dustup.. TBS, I was young once and a sailor!! ?
