Buy him a pc. He can play all games on there plus more. Also the xbox controller works on pc. Thats what i do

I don't see crossplay mentioned.

However you are correct.

I'll add on though, I am unaware of any Xbox exclusive games anymore. I believe that they all come out on Xbox and PC. While not crossplatform multiplayer, the Xbox is now a low tier PC with extremely limited capabilities. Which IMO makes buying an Xbox over a PC pointless.
