Today I went grocery shopping. More than half the people were not wearing masks. Of all the people I passed only 2 made direct eye contact with me at two separate times. I smiled at both of them. No smile back. The first person I just felt awkward because there was no reciprocated smile. The second person looked mad I smiled at them. Anyone else notice this or am I going with the I'm just crazy escuse?

Maybe they were nervous. I found many other maskless people smiling when Texas first went maskless. But in the beginning people were nervous and didn’t want to appear as if they were flaunting it so they didn’t always make eye contact or smile. In other words it depends on the person. I wouldn’t read into it. They were smiling on the inside fren.
