Dr. Berg's videos and Thomas Delauer are great recommendations.
Go slow. Do daily intermittent fasting to get your body on track. After sleep which hopefully is 8 hours start extending that overnight fast to 10 to 12 hours. After a few weeks creep up towards 16 hours.
A few months of this and you will be more than ready to try a longer stint.

That sounded like a joke but I'm getting compliments like crazy and I blame intermittent fasting.
That's an amazing result, fren! I didn't have nearly that much to be able to lose but I can confirm it did change my life and aided in walking with the Lord.
