I often meet leftist arguments with those simple questions. Because they will just state stuff as if it's empirical fact with little to no evidence or supporting data. They just push forward a statement which they deem to be self-evident. Such as, "Such and such needs to be removed because it's racist." If you just ask the simple stuff, "In what way is it racist?" "To which race is it an affront toward?" "What about _____ is racist when ____ applies to everyone?"

Especially the privilege stuff. "White privilege? At what time has or will this privilege be active? You get to go through life without people accusing you of privilege-- and that's a privilege i'd like to have."

I have nearly won a debate just by asking 'why' a few times. It's like they know what to parrot but they don't know how to get to that phrase they're parroting. It's like knowing a finished product, but not knowing any of the ingredients to it.
