I see where Hagar (Ishmael's mother) is told Ishmael will be a large nation:

“I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.” - Gen 16:9

"And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation - Gen 17:20

And I see where Ishmaels descendants will be a thorn in the side of basically everyone:

"He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers." - Gen 16:12

But I don't see where Ishmaels descendants will come into more (future) blessing?
