We never both worked, it was always myself who worked. It is different now, but a little bit better I feel. I don't do just Iconography (I have actually never sold an icon, when that time comes I don't know if I can) but I do sell prayer ropes and make a little bit of money from that. The church takes care of us a lot but I put back in the work that I can for the church!
I use to work for IKEA, before that Universal Studios (Harry Potter) and before that Cracker Barrel.
He doesn't work all the time, I have to push him. He complains a lot about his diabetes but doesn't actually want to change his diet or go to a doctor to get it fixed.
We live with his parents, have the entire time we have been married (12 years now) I can't do anything to get him to change to work more. I leave it all up to God. It's a very complicated situation in detail. It doesn't work because he "works" it works because God is in control.
