As of today, below are the guidelines for wearing masks within OSF, specific to our setting or administrative location.
Please know that I am responsible for knowing whether you have receive the vaccination as outlined below per our Occupational Health Portal. If you have received the vaccine but NOT submitted your information, please do so, otherwise I will have to assume you have not receive your vaccination and if in the building need to continue to wear a mask.

NON-PATIENT CARE SETTINGS Staff who work in or are visiting areas where there is no potential for direct interactions with patients (such as an administrative building) may discontinue masking if they meet the following vaccination status definitions: Vaccination status definition:
- You must have received the required covid-19 vaccine does by the manufacturer (received two doses of Pfizer or Moderna, and one dose for J & J).
- You must have waited 14 days after receiving your final vaccine dose based on guidelines.
So, they will know right away who has / has not gotten the jab! What a bunch of crap!
This crap really hurts the breadwinner in the family, because my first reaction is QUIT THAT JOB! Meanwhile, do NOT take any jab and just wear a gauzy mask until this is over because IT'S ALMOST FINISHED. The shitz gonna hit the fan real soon
I know! They legally can't make us take it until it is FDA approved - they can only shame us now. It will take more than this to shame me!!! And once it's FDA approved - I'm going straight to my doctor to get a medical exemption!
Well..... for now, we only have to wear it when we leave our desks... so, not technically all day - that is the one saving grace about all this crap!
My retail job came out with new policy today. If you are "fully vaccinated" you no longer have to wear a mask. Everyone kept theirs on today and I know they are vaccinated. Starting tomorrow when they take our temps they will ask if we are vaccinated. I plan on telling them it's none of their business. But since I wasn't planning on staying with this job much longer anyway, I'll be compliant and wear the stupid mask. So what can they do to me? If a co-worker says anything to me I'll tell them I'm wearing it for their paranoia. I've remained low profile so far........ tomorrow the boat will start to rock. The rest of the policy states they cannot ask for proof of vaccination and should we offer proof they are not allowed to even look at it. So I could lie but I refuse to act like a Democrat.
I know that being in a dead end job taken only to get me to retirement gives me a little leeway that a real job I cared about wouldn't.

Yes, we have to get the special "card" and show it to management so they can mark down who has / has not gotten it.

I always delete any emails that reference anything 'COVID' related. I was never told to wear a mask so I never had.

What a freaking zoo we are living in now - a full-on episode of the "TWILIGHT ZONE"!! And for book club - HOW will they know who is / isn't vaxxed? They LEGALLY can't ask!
I do remember that episode - "To Serve Man" - so pertinent to the crap going on today! Thankfully I don't really care about society approval - I have been a renegade all of my life - not changing now!!
