Why I am undecided about the Vaccine:

• I have questions generally about the long-term affect of vaccines on the human body. I’m not familiar with research that investigates potential long-term – 10 – 20 year – side-effects and have concerns about the financial pressures that play a part in vaccine development. Its not obvious to me that this is an area that’s being honestly and openly investigated and reported.
• I’m not sure that MRNA vaccines have been proven to have long-term safety – I have questions still about the animal studies which were done which allegedly showed that all the animals became sick or died when they came into contact with the live virus later on. I’m not sure that this has been shown not to be a risk.
• I’m concerned that the mass vaccination may be creating dangerous conditions for the virus to get worse by applying selection pressure towards more contagious variants – I’m not sure this is yet proven one way or the other.
• I have questions about the type of control groups that are being set up to study the long-term effects of mass covid vaccination and how the results from those studies are going to be shared with people to inform future choices.
• I’m worried about Antibody dependant enhancements, cytotoxic storm, immune priming etc – I don’t understand why officials are confident that this isn’t an issue and am worried that it is being glossed over.
• I’ve seen some figures which allege that average age of death from the virus is 78, which is normal life-expectancy. This makes me realise I don’t much about the genuine risk of the virus, and to wonder what the risk actually is to younger people, and to question the need for younger, healthy people to have a vaccine at all
• I’m concerned about the censorship of professionals who are speaking out against the vaccination campaigns and have some concerns that “experts” are being coerced or pressured into a particular opinion by threats to future grants and work opportunity. I’m worried that this has created a lack of free and open debate.
• I am worried that the issue of vaccination is being framed as a moral decision, with those who are choosing to vaccinate claiming those who don’t are somehow immoral.
• I’m concerned about the rise of “fact-checking” which I have personally observed being used in a different area to give the illusion of careful investigation when in fact viewpoints have been cherry-picked and mischaracterised. I’m worried that this is happening around the risks, treatments and regulations concerning Covid.
• I have questions about asymptomatic spread of the virus, as I have heard conflicting viewpoints on it, and I need to see intelligent discourse about it to be able to determine what is and isn’t certain.
• I’m confused as to whether the vaccine provides protection or not, and if it does provide protection, just what is meant by protection? There seems to be an inconsistency in the hysteria generated by new variants whilst also encouraging people to be vaccinated against just one of those variants. Do the vaccines protect against the virus, or do they just protect against a particular mutation?
• I don’t think that consensus is a good thing in science – I think that open discussion and exploration of ideas is essential to stop manipulation by powerful interests and to ensure that unpopular, inconvenient, but potentially important ideas are explored fully. I’m also concerned about the structure sitting behind scientific research and that results are not accurately reflecting reality because of the way decisions are being made about what to research and what not to research.
• I want to know a lot more about possible treatments and other preventative methods – I feel like a vaccine – if effective – should be evaluated against other treatments and actions, and I’m confused as to why people think it's ok to allow conversatino about this to be manipulated by Big Tech and government.
• I have seen video of people claiming to be nurses who say that they are not allowed to speak freely about what they are experiencing in the hospitals and I want to understand what is motivating these people and what is going on there.
• I’m concerned about the way the pandemic has been reported – I have seen instances of newspapers exaggerating harm through using photos that create false impressions and I’m wondering to what extent this is happening to create an exaggerated impression of risk.
• I am concerned about the way PCR testing has been conducted and whether we have an accurate understanding of the extent of the virus. I’m not clear on the criteria being used to determine what should and shouldn’t constitute a case, and just what it is that requires measurement and reporting, and I’ve heard speak of a huge case being filed against various global institutions for crimes against humanity in this area.
• I have questions about the way deaths from the virus have been reported. It isn’t clear to me to what extent the risk of contracting the virus is augmenting long-term health risks when compared to background risks to health which are always present in our environments. This makes it difficut for me to evaluate benefit and cost of all sorts of measures.
• I have questions about the financials behind the vaccine and testing schemes – I am worried that that the media and pharmaceutical industry may be financially incentivised to maximise fear and hence uptake of a vaccine, rather than facilitating an intelligent assessment of relative risks and benefits.
• I have questions about the links between the requirements for emergency use authorisation of vaccines and the potential suppression of proper trials into alternative treatments that would have prevented the vaccines from receiving their emergency use authorisation. Is there any link between these two things, and are we certain that the vaccine approach was the only approach that could have been followed? Is the vaccine approach still the best approach, especially given the lack of data concerning long-term effects?
• I am concerned that the vaccine has led to the premature deaths of vulnerable older people, and I don’t know where to go for honest information about this.
• I am worried that vaccine rollouts may be linked to new waves of disease in various places around the world, and I don’t know where to look for open and honest discourse about that.
• I am not sure that there aren’t risks to people who are unvaccinated in being around people who are vaccinated – I don’t know the extent of the research that has been done to prove that isn’t an issue now, and won’t be in the future.
• I am concerned about the effect of the vaccine on fertility, reproduction, children etc – I am not familiar with how these potential effects have been assessed to date and are being assessed going forward.
• I’m confused as to why healthy younger people have been so quick to take up the vaccine and feel like I need to see plenty of open and honest discourse around the questions and concerns I’ve listed above. I recognise that this is a trust issue that I have, but it is difficult for me to trust official sources whom I have caught manipulating my viewpoint on multiple occasions.

The conclusion I have drawn is that from what I can understand of potential benefits and risks, it is currently unclear as to whether it would genuinely help myself or society in general were I to take the vaccine. It is also unclear to me what the cost of taking the vaccine will be to myself and others.
