I could barely get through the second paragraph. All of these hit pieces do the same thing, lay as groundwork and as a given that anything not fitting within the mockingbird narrative is "outlandish" or extreme or conspiracy or bizarre, etc. Increasingly the only people reading their articles are the ones already brainwashed and part of the echo chamber. They're not persuading anyone, I don't believe anyway.
