if the dems control the senate by virtue of the "vice president" and 6 GOP flipped then wouldnt that mean at least 10 dems also voted against it?

Even if the filibuster was led by the GOP there was 11 senators who abstained (how many were GOP and how many were Dems?) and 10 dems who voted against the commission...seems like it wasn't the GOP who blocked it but a partisan effort for once.

My guess is if there was a truly independent investigation it would not end well for the democrats or the GOP actually.
