The difference is that their enemies, the British, had compassion and felt that using force against peaceful indians was immoral and eventually let them win. Our enemies have no souls or moral fiber in their body and want to see us all dead.

Agreed. Ghandi succeeded because of the British. His story is really a story about the tolerance of western civilization. There is a reason that there were no Ghandi's in the USSR or China.
