Ok so my mom is a diehard liberal, mostly because my Grandma raised her that way, when the party appeared to be the working man's party. Well I have tried for months to redpill her and nothing was working...until this Fauci stuff. She sees what's happening, now. And she's sick of the white hate narrative, the government overreach, etc. But just doesn't see that it is the Dems. So I introduced her to communism 101. She is learning, and seeing the light. She said to me "I would've voted for Trump if he would've acted more normal. He was such an asshole to people sometimes" Ok, so she ADMITTED she should have voted for Trump!!!! She never would have said that before. Also, I had to tell her "You don't understand what he has been up against. He has to be a strong leader who takes no shit" She agreed. Moral of this story is if she can begin to wake up, ANYONE can!

And most (if not all) of that "if Trump had been more normal/nice" is just mockingbird programming. I dare say if you asked her to name examples she'd be hard-pressed to point to any. And part of that is the misperception that the rest of the world doesn't like us because Trump was so mean. That was another mockingbird line that was constantly drummed into people. I've never given a shit what other countries have thought of us (or what the MSM is telling us is negative) because I know if given the chance, all of those supposedly offended foreigners would cut off their right hands to come over here.
You're exactly right. I once asked her why she didn't like Trump, and she said, "I just don't like him" I explained that the media has taken her on an emotional journey and that whatever she thinks of him personally does not reflect his policies on trade, immigration, taxes, etc.!!! The Dems run on emotion and that's it
Women should not be able to vote or run for office. Many of our current issues stem from this.
To be fairy step-dad is even worse than her. But yeah, stereotypical women maybe
Exactly. Emotion rules everything, they get people riled up, and then pop culture and late-night comedians take up the torch and make people think they're cool to be outrageous. It's a never-ending circle.
