All good points but what is one to do when the Constitution has been set aside and all institutions are co-opted or corrupted? One could make the argument that our own Revolution was a very long Night of the Long Knives since there was never a hope to achieve satisfaction within a corrupt system and our objectives had to be pursued through other means. I don't think we are at the point where all hope is lost within the system but I do think it is prudent to consider that possibility. We are currently on the precipice and our answer will arrive in the next year or two.
