If you weren't already aware, Q has a private 8kun board that he posts on, /projectdcomms/.

Recently, a message was posted to this private board by somebody who called himself "B" (without Q's tripcode or any other verification from Q).

Predictably, this has caused a lot of speculation, as it was thought that B would have needed the password to post on this board (something that only Q has).

However, 8kun has a special type of user called a "Global Volunteer" - a type of administrator that can post to any board. The owner of 8kun has recently come stated that B's IP matches that of one of these Global Volunteers - confirming B is a fake.

With this, we can conclude that B is not Q - and as he was a Global Volunteer, he did not need to have the board's password in order to post on it.
