On behalf of myself and the rest of the mod team, take a moment to remember why you’re not at work today. Young brave men and women gave their lives so we can live ours free.

Graduated high school in 05 and saw a bunch of friends go over seas. I have some friends (mainly marines) that didn't come back, some that came back heavily injured (lost legs mainly), and some that came back mentally scarred. My one buddy (won't say names he would be embarrassed) came back home so I wanted to treat him. Before food and beers I took him to the driving range out in the country. We heard gunshots (a farmer) and he ran for cover. He hadn't heard a gunshot since being stateside so it was just instinct. No clue if any of you guys belong to this site and read this but I just wanted to say thank you to you guys and every other soldier out there. I know what you guys go through on a daily basis being stateside out of a war zone. We appreciate everything you have accomplished.
To all you current and retired soldiers THANK YOU and hope you had a great memorial day weekend
