If you read Jim Watkins statement, it seems they did an investigation of the logs and are 99% sure it was a 'Global volunteer' who did the post. Not Q.
For does who don't understand - a global volunteer, it is volunteer mod that have access to all boards. As a global mod he was able to post but not have the password to activate the tripcode as Q.
JIm implies the volunteer was dealt with. He didn't want to say if he was being curious or trolling or ill intended. But I imaging they are looking into it. Of course, this person was removed from the global access.
I find it all a bit confusing but didn't Q have a private board that only he could post? Does a global volunteer have access to a private board as well?
Yes, global volunteers have access to all boards without needing a password. B stands for bullshit.
