How is this okay? Its literally discrimination... Im very distraught and dont know if there is anything that can be done about them treating people like this...

You should do something. Maybe begin with calling corporate. If they do not do anything about it, go the route of a lawsuit. If you happen to revive any monetary compensation, you can donate it.
