In his analogy the vast majority of droplets would be less than four feet wide. The smallest could be less than a foot wide and the largest around 13 feet wide.
Imagine spikey ping pong balls suspended in beach ball sized saliva bubbles floating through holes roughly the size of one half of a tennis court.
