Wish I had my laptop from about 2010. Had read something on the internet about HIV having been manufactured at about the same time the SV40 (monkey virus in polio vaccines) was discussed in Congress. It was sometime in the early 1960's. Guess it was another virus that "escaped" from the lab.

My former sister-in-law was one of the first women diagnosed with GRIDS -Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome- she wasn't gay. Not long after she died (tuberculosis brought on by immune deficiency), the name was changed to AIDS. She likely got it when she and my ex brother-in-law would cross the border from Texas into Mexico to buy and shoot up drugs. This was in the 79-82 time period. She died in 1983.
