It is a good read from Sundance. It really is what Hayek wrote about in Road to Serfdom in the 50s - how the worst get on top. It is systemic in all big organizations.

I do think that what we have in DC though is more than just systemic - it was by design or at least the acceleration towards total corruption does not seem organic.
