- just a point of reference bois, to the layman when I listen to what I think is a good performance on a piano, a pro can nit-pick this and that, call out perfect pitch, technique etc.. its the same with the military. To my brothers that did this professionally for a long time, you train train train, until its muscle memory. You run battle drills until you die. There is an art to it, you are a wolf. You can recognize other wolves, because they look like a wolf and they talk like a wolf, they have teeth like a wolf. For those of you who never walked in those boots, everything seems suspicious.. I dont fault you on that, even I watched the video several times, and watched every members movement. Observed what they are carrying, observed the gear they wore. This isnt a rescue, this isnt a raid... this is a bumbling infantry unit that dropped in to conduct a training raid, and raided a civilian factory because someone in that unit fucked up. Their Platoon LT is prolly gonna get relieved cause it hit the news and that unit has egg on their face. Anyone who has conducted a high value raid knows a normal infantry unit doesnt hit it. At best they would be local security around the site, and Rangers/SF or another SOF unit would raid it. Combat arms makes up about 1 to 2% of the Army. Thats infantry/tankers/Cavalry etc.. The community gets smaller and smaller as you go up, infantry, rangers, SF, Delta. You know what they are, you recognize them. Not every video with a soldier in it is some highspeed operation that is happening. Rant complete.
