Even now it is impossible (or nearly so) to get Ivermectin. However, it can be had from places like Tractor Supply in a paste form used for horses. Just sayin'.

Liquid injectable, taken orally is the way to go.

I genuinely would like to know why a medication to kill parasites is effective for the coof. Anyone?

Both ivermectin and HCQ acidify the lysosomal compartments in cells which creates a hostile environment for parasites—as well as viruses because that is where the viruses replicate.
