If the Chinese people, not the Party elites got that information, it could start a real revolution inside China. They are tired of the oppression and the gulf between rich and poor. Everything they do and say are monitored by the Communist Party and they've had it. Knowing their Dear Leader caused so much needless death and destruction around the globe, then realizing any money owed to other countries would be paid with their sweat and labor not out of the pockets of the Party elite.
