For anyone wondering how it's possible that clothing could be made out of oil and gas...

It's because synthetic fabrics (polarfleece, rayon, dacron, polyester, polypropylene, capilene, etc) are made by taking petroleum (I'm not sure how gas comes into play) as raw ingredients and using chemistry.
