I work for a financial institution over the phone and we've been working from home for 14-15 months now. We received an email notifying us that we'll receive a survey about vaccines. They claim the results will not be individualized and will only be used in aggregate to better plan for our return to the office in the fall. How would you respond?
Do you lie and say you've been vaccinated, in the off chance they track you? Do you say you haven't gotten the poison and don't intend to?
Now I haven't seen the questions yet but I imagine they'll be obvious. They could use this information in a number of ways that I know you all will hash out in the comments so I'll refrain from upchucking all my thoughts in this post.
What say you keyboard warriors?

Surveys must not be compulsory. The simple reason is that if you compel people to answer questions, then the results will be biased. Furthermore, there should be a statement that you can withdraw at any time. If that is not there, just refuse to fill it in, because the information is your business, not theirs.
Whether or not you have been vaccinated, is a private matter, between you and your doctor. End of.

I understand and agree. I can just not take the survey I think. But taking it a lying is also an option, would that be a better strategy? Contaminate their data. It's not like they'll ask for proof because they can't really do that.
It is a strategy I must admit, however, in my experience, whatever the results of such a survey, will be ignored in favour of their agenda anyway. These days surveys are just a cover that companies create to simulate stakeholder involvement. In reality, they don't actually care what the responses are.
If you tell them a load of porkies it won't make any difference to what they intend to do.
Good points. So you would just throw it in a folder and not even open it then? Pretty sure that is what I'm going to do. Supposed to be sent to everyone this week. Also in that same email they informed us that we're required to wear masks but if you're vaxxed u can take it off when at your desk. If not vaxxed u have to wear a damn mask at your desk, surrounded by cubicle and on the phone. So how are you going to know who is vaxxed and who isn't? It's bullshit unless they ask for proof, which I'm hoping they wont cross that line. Probably illegal.
It is illegal, and they are attempting to take advantage of people's honesty. They have no right to ask for proof of vax BTW, so I would just take off the mask and go to work. My suspicion is that no-one will ask you for proof.
