I think you’re correct when you mentioned “venue and format” and “it is not a rally”. I think his tone probably matched the ambiance of the moment. To go a little deeper, I think Trump dropped some serious “Booms” last night and there times I feel that he is saying a lot when he’s not actually saying that much. Example, when he said that line about it being “very good for our country” and “bad things have happened nothing like we’ve seen before” and we “are going to see what’s been happening like we’ve never seen before” it almost sounded like an ad libbed after thought but in the context of what he was actually saying it was quite possibly the strongest statement of the the whole speech. I’ve been thinking about it since I heard him say it. It’s like he used that tone and kinda somber deliver to hide the actual message. Because if he was screaming it and using it as a rally cry then I believe MSM would have been all over it but since it was more of a whisper then a roar it really was delivered under the radar. Put that together with his statement before the speech about getting back in the White House sooner then we think and it is my opinion that he was more revealing about what has happened, is happening and going to happen then many people realize. To me his tone was strategic and though I could be wrong I think in context of what he actually said it was MOAB cloaked in what could be perceived as gibberish. The Lara Trump situation is probably more strategy and timing but honestly haven’t given it much thought because I personally believe all the 2022 and 2024 talk is misdirection.
