"If it bleeds, it leads." Right? Media found out long ago that scandal, fear, and general negativity got readership as opposed to good news or unbiased coverage.

There was such a thing as journalistic integrity, we might only be able to get it back by wiping the slate clean and starting over. Just like our hapless government.
